David DeCheser’s past is checkered with a motley blend of heavy metal, computer science, role playing games, and graphic design.

After the demise of his band Crushboy he rejoined society, ran a few entrepreneurial ventures — including the now defunct, but once-hyped, Dreamless Studios with Eric Dinyer — and ultimately ended up in New York City in 1998.

There he joined a small multidisciplinary design firm that, in a few short years, grew into Red Sky Interactive. As the company rapidly transformed so did David’s role — he quickly rose to Creative Director and was the creative lead for the Microsoft, Slim Jim, and Nikon accounts.

After a short detour at Agency.com, he then went on in 2002 to found the digital practice at Sequel — a strategic design firm started by his former colleagues. Since then he’s had the pleasure to work with clients such as Consumer Reports, Microsoft, NARS Cosmetics, CA, Boost Mobile, Campbell Soup Company, The Aperture Foundation, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ.

In his spare time he’s been building Concert Vine — an online live concert community. He’s also recently rekindled his obsession with comic books.
