The Twitterverse was all abuzz yesterday with this beautifully designed and executed video that visualizes the current credit crisis. The video, developed as part of a grad student’s thesis, breaks the complexity of this “situation” down to a simple narrative with illuminating visuals.
Some are criticizing this for over-simplifying things and are drawing comparisons to how the media dumbs-down the news into spoon-fed sound bytes. I’m not informed enough to make a judgment there. But either way this is an excellent example of how to present a complex issue in an entertaining way.
